Pretium Packaging offers the European and UK markets an extensive range of packaging solutions for food and beverage applications. Our polyethylene terephthalate (PET) containers for consumer products and our high-density polyethylene (HDPE) solutions for dairy products and bulk flavorings are all manufactured in state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. Pretium Europe’s PET lines are manufactured in our Etten-Leur, Netherlands plant, and HDPE lines are manufactured in Ballyconnell, Ireland.
Our PET Jars serve a variety of markets with popular shapes and sizes
Pretium’s PET jar range is extensive, and offers a wide range of shapes and sizes to help you meet your marketing objectives. The majority of our jars are used for food applications such as nuts and nut butters; snacks; condiments; and seasonings and spices.
The clear, shatterproof and recyclable PET resin accepts colorants well, or you can choose clear jars that let your product show. Each of our jar lines are available in both virgin resin and rPET.
PET Condiment & Squeezer Bottles
Pretium Europe produces several ranges of bottles used for honey and sweeteners, condiments, sauces and marinades. Most of these options feature a 38-400 neck to accommodate closures with pour spouts and flip tops. We also have customization capabilities to bring your unique designs to life.
PET Spirit & Shot Bottles
Our PET manufacturing platform and preform library are an ideal fit for shatterproof spirit and shot bottles. Our portfolio of bottles for this application range from 10ml to 500ml and feature a variety of neck finishes to match the most common beverage closures.
Hot Fill Capabilities
Pretium Europe has recently launched two bottles that are hot-fill capable PET plastic. These 250ml and 330ml bottles both feature a 33mm neck that accepts tamper-evident closures. These bottles are manufactured on our new 2-stage PET platform, and can be filled up to 85C. They are an ideal sustainable alternative to glass beverage bottles, and are fully recyclable in clear PET.
HDPE Drink Bottles
Our Ballyconnell, Ireland location is capable of blow moulding and decorating containers for yogurt and other drink products. We have custom capabilities to manufacture unique shapes across a variety of sizes to support your brand.
HDPE Dairy Solutions
Pretium Ireland is one of the leading manufacturers of dairy packaging in the United Kingdom, supplying leading dairy farmers with solutions from 189ml to 4 litres. We also manufacture the closures. In addition to a standard range of bottles, we also have a patented.
Tethered Cap Solution for Dairy
Pretium Packaging has introduced an integrated bottle and closure solution for dairy packaging up to 3 liters. The patented tethered cap solution includes a special tapered neck design of the primary package that engages with the tethered cap component for reliable performance.
The tethered closure solution complies with a 2019 European Union directive that will require all single-use plastic beverage containers to have caps and closures that remain attached to the primary package during and after use. Tethered caps will become mandatory in the EU from July 2024 for all plastic beverage containers up to 3 liters in capacity.
Pretium’s 38mm custom tethered closure solution is available for container sizes of 189ml, 250ml, 500ml, 1 pint, 1 liter, 2 liters & 3 liters.
